ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

We proudly acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on
which we gather and work—the Wurundjeri people in Melbourne,
Victoria. We honour their deep cultural and spiritual connection to the
land. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and are
committed to learning, listening, and walking in partnership with Indige-
nous communities as we move forward.

COMMITMENT

We are deeply committed to making choices that reflect our
responsibility to both people and the planet. This commitment extends
across every aspect of our business, from sourcing materials and
manufacturing to the relationships we cultivate with our partners.

RESPONSIBLE MANUFACTURING AND ETHICAL SOURCING

Our commitment to sustainability begins with our local production
practices. We proudly manufacture in Australia, supporting the Australian
textile industry and collaborating with local artisans, suppliers, and
stakeholders who share our values of integrity and quality.

Where possible, we source our fabrics and materials from
deadstock, giving new life to textiles that might otherwise go to waste. These
carefully selected materials are reimagined and transformed into thoughtfully
designed garments. Deadstock refers to surplus materials left over from brands and
manufacturers who have over-ordered, as well as from textile mills that have
overproduced. These fabrics can result from cancelled orders, end-of-line
stock, mill overruns, or excess created by designers. If not repurposed,
deadstock fabrics typically end up as waste, often discarded into landfills or
incinerated, which contributes to harmful greenhouse gas emissions and other
environmental damage.

OUR ONGOING JOURNEY

We are on a continuous journey of learning, discovery, and
improvement. We do not claim to have all the answers, but we are steadfast in
our commitment to doing better. By understanding our risks, making informed
decisions, and embracing innovation, we aim to create products that are not
only beautiful and functional but also responsible and ethically made. As we
evolve, we will continue to share our progress, listen to our community, and
take accountability for the choices we make today to ensure a better tomorrow.
